NOVEMBER 2001 @ HARA ARENA
So I want to be in the front row and I don't know if
that is possible in an arena. I ask the girl @ Kroger Tickmaster and she says it is all general admission. Great! I
leave school at 2pm Hara is very close. Never been there before. I am the only one in shorts and a bikini top. I know how
hot it gets in front. The sound check was the best yet. The metal on the outside of Hara shook and rattled to DISTURBED. Do
you see that? I yell to whoever is listening around me.That is the most bad ass thing to see! DISTURBED making the outside
of the building shake;) I get thru the door. The line a little longer than what I wanted. The girl says you can't go
to the floor. Wrong ticket. You can sit in any of the seats upstairs. That bitch at kroger lied! I run RUN to the upstair
seating. After Systematic was done playing, one of security came over and asked me if I wasnted to upgrade. Four
people on the floor didn't want to be there in a sold out house, so four of us in the fisrt row of seats first four seats
got upgraded. I was in the first seat. The closest I could get from the upperhouse. Led to the floors we were shown our
only way in and out off the floor. I get set to ATTEMPT and get up front. After that bitch lied to me the best thing
to happens would be not miss DISTURBED. Do you remember Stereomud? I am a Soundevice fan today. A little farther ahead in
the crowd. Drowning Pool is coming on. I might get hurt when Bodies starts. The flow of the crowd @ Hara Arena is not making
me claustraphobic, I am flowing with them, my fist in the air, I am almost up from. I LOVED hearing Bodies live.
I missed them at Ozzfest. The lights go down DISTURBED is coming out!!!! The man in front of me motions to have his
spot. I nod yes and he pushes me in spot & he jumps out. Just in time!! DISTURBED & Jess is again in front row!
The bruises on my ribs, back and under the armpit.
The bruise on the ribs was the biggest and worst to date. I love it!! I am FUCKING DISTURBED!
SEPTEMBER 2002 @ PROMOWEST PAVILLION
I am 7 months pregnant. waited a while for DISTURBED. Believe is
being released and this is a chance to hear before the album comes out in a few weeks. I arrive early as usual. Right by the
door. Being so far along I know I can't handle being up front. I keep the whole back of my body up against the pavillion
door so Viktoria could feel the soundcheck. a few approval kicks from her. She already likes Prayer. At the last minute when
the doors open. I go ahead and get up front. Being in such a preggo mind it would be easier to get out when it gets rough.
Than to get a wild hair and try to get through the pit and get stuck. I press my hands on the rail, press my feet to
the ground firm. Thankful of the mild opener( sorry i don't rmember who you were:( i was 7 months pregnant;) DISTURBED
is next! I stick my ass out behind me so my belly doesn't touch the rail. This is the most primal I've seen out of me yet.
No one can budge me! I get bumped some and the security showed me how to stand to avoid the surfers. Excellent show!! Viktoria
approves. We both survive. I get stuck in my space in the parking lot for an hour and a half. Exhausted like I've never been
before. Viktoria starts her DISTURBED concert and doesn't stop moving for 2 days.
MARCH 2003 @ HARA ARENA
Lessons learned A roadtrip this time from my mom's house a 2 1/2
hour drive. I definately made sure i had the correct ticket for the floor. I am the first person to step out on the floor.how
does it feel? I am asked. I let out a hoop to hear the echo and dash to the front. I get stopped a few feet before
the stage and they make us all sit down. That freaked me because I fear When the show starts I will get trampled in my seat.
Nope I do great jump up in time, and I have a great view of the bands. I drank, the lady beside got her ticket free she
bought mine and we drank the whole night. Unloco rocked!! Chevelle and Taproot rocked. The crowd seemed a little mild. It's
DISTURBED!! That's what I like. Music as a weapon two. Just as great as the first. Can't wait for the third! I caught a Chevelle
pick and a DISTURBED pick. I found one on the floor as I was leaving and gave it to a younger fan. Another great
DISTURBED night. I did have some driving issues on the way home. Saw my first set of handcuffs outside of the bedroom;) I
made out okay. Although I had to have a ride from the state highway post. That sucked at 4:30 am.
AUGUST 2003 @ OZZFEST
There hasn't been an electrocution or straight jacket opener
or gas chamber but it's okay. It doesn't detract at all from the performance. I got to do some work at Ozzfest. No hair services
for bands but I did have an honor of setting up the second stage that year. I worked harcore 3-5 hrs and
was told to have a great time the rest of the day. I did! Unloco rocked. I got to see Marilyn Manson close for the first
time. Halfway in the pavillion seating and I was blessed to get a side aisle seat! Great view for DISTURBED! Got to feel
it. Got to love it. I've seen the greatest band I have ever wanted to work for. Running on one hour of sleep I take it
easy for the rest of the day. I skipped out on Ozzy(forgive me dark prince of metal) I had been there since 3:30am and
I hear Oz's set from the parking lot while trying to figure out where I parked that morning.
I did wait 2 hours and bought my 3rd the sickness to meet the band
and I got it signed for my little cousin amanda.
Got to meet Unloco and they knew I was the hairdresser that
had been polluting their message board that summer.
JULY 2004 @ PROMOWEST PAVILLION
This is the best/most DISTURBING day yet.
My car runs like shit, my fake boyfriend humors
me and says he'll give me a ride. I left with my flintstone mobile very furious and DISTURBED, I do not want to be late. A
kick to my ass my fake man beats me there. So pissed I won't talk to him or look at him. I could not stand to be
near him. I flipped him off from the front, to him on the lawn. Good he saw me. I felt less DISTURBING. All of the people
that love me I got to hug while waiting in line. They asked how I was and all I could reply was I am DISTURBED.
Little did I know what was in my cards for tonight.
I was so mad all day that when Damage Plan came out I GOT SHOVED
OUT OF MY SPOT. Just added to my pissy day. It was a mean pit. I was mean to the jerks who bumped me out. I hate disrespect.
I'm just a little woman. I used the pit shoves to my advantage to elbow those who bumped me out. I know I left bruises.
The perks of pit movement. The lawn was mild and the pit/ concrete was an experience. I followed the outer edge
of the pit. Squeezing, sliding, ducking through the crowd. The music loud and I feel it. I am too short and the crowd is too
big to see. I am fucking DISTURBED. I will not crowd surf! Way too many people surfing have been dropped. So I do
my DISTURBING best to adapt. I survive looking pretty rough. I made it a point to not have sun melted make up on
me for DISTURBED. Wading through the crowd at the end, feeling better than ever for the day, I see Dimebag Darrell coming
my way.The most genuine kindness I had ever met. He immediately shook my hand. He had the best smile. All I could
think was I'd love to get my hands on that red goatee. I loved the show, I said to him. He said Have a great night sweety,
with a hug. That was it. We part, I scan the crowd, think of how dirty I look and feel, and Dimebag just
saw me this way. Sucked I happened to be out of business cards. The cards would not have survived( thanks to myself for not
losing the id) and there hadn't been any extra time to hand it off. I won't tell you how shitty the rest of my night was.
What a great fucking DISTURBED show!!! Thanks to the pit crowd for allowing me to release my frustrations of the day. How
rocking of Dimebag to be so great to greet.
I learned that night I can only go to DISTURBED concerts solo.
It's more fun anyway!!! This particualr DISTURBED show was definately what I needed at the moment. Thank you for the experience!
See you in the front row!!!!
FEB 10 & FEB
11 2006 @ JANNUS LANDING- ST PETERSBURG,FL
So I have alot to write about my double dose of Disturbed!!
The shows sold out before I could get my tickets. An outside venue, I had no problem going to hear from outside. The local
radio down here was having a last minute contest- Disturbing Behavior for Disturbed tickets. 8 am I call the station to get
details and I am told to come to the station now. I get there at 9:45 and I am the last one accepted in. There were a couple
of options... spin the wheel and do what it says.. icy hot on the face or eating live shrimp or eating a stick of butter or
the options of nipple or genital piercings. For the sake of Disturbed I was willing to get my hood pierced. Well they had
no more Disturbed tickets left so I played for Staind. last second deciding nipples pierced for Staind.... They brought me
and another chick in and the game was a make out session. The first one to back off losses. neither of us were willing to
give. Here I am live on the air fully naked getting licked down there by another chick. mild celebrity status and a nickname
of crown royal;) I had a pair of Staind tickets now to barter with once I make it to Jannus Landing.
I arrive at Jannus Landing and find 2 tickets for saturday's
show and traded mine even up. Greatness!! Then I find a ticket for the show that night.. paid $25 less than expected.
I had stickers to distribute and ended up giving all
of them away the first night.
walking around checking out the scene and my energy is
at it's highest peak. The gentleman who got a prince albert for tickets noticed me from the radio station and needed someone
to go to the meet and greet with him. I had my resume in my purse just in case I had the opportunity to get it in the hands
of the band. How awesome for me to meet them again and when I asked David Draiman if I could leave something for them he replied
with a yes. After 5 yrs of chasing them with my hair services and well over a dozen resumes later I finally got to put my
resume in their hands personally. Rock on!! The most rocking 2 shows ever!! My disturbed view was off to left back a
half dozen rows and standing on a bench between the forked tree. A great view and a phenominal show!!! It didn't stop there...
ZEROCREEP the most intense band I've heard yet here in FL!!! Those awesome boys got to play the after Disturbed and
talk about a double dose is an understatement. Between the 2 bands for both days it was a quadruple dose of intense rock.
The next day I was more prepared. no extra sweatshirt,
no purse, no resume, no signed poster. Just me in my raw Disturbed form ready for my next dose.
I explore the bar beside the venue and drink 3 dollar
Tanqueray and tonics, find a concert companion, had a make out session with a hottie who thought I looked to cold in the rain
and he felt the need to warm me up before the show. My first line cut ever my concert buddie hooks me in the spot.in all my
13 disturbed shows I have had the opportunity to get drunk during the shows until now.... nicely intoxicated and a doobie
smoked Disturbed starts and I am rocking out on a nice tough set of shoulders. We stop and start wading thruogh the crowd.
i lose my buddie in the pit and I keep moving forward. Overburdened was performed and I was so happy. I wasn't
expecting to hear that tune live. A disgruntled female hating and kicking the shit out of my leg for a couple songs. I just
turn and lay on a smile. I've been disturbed before at a Disturbed show, but this chick fool had no idea who she was messing
with. The bruises and pain will not stop me from making it to the front;) I keep going and catch the last few songs from front
row. Although when Down With The Sickness for the encore I jumped the rail with the nicest assistance and singing to everyone
I pass as I head to the back for my Zerocreep. the break in dwts the meanness of no mommy here it comes get ready to die
I am going off with it and then laugh as I realize Zerocreep's frontman is standing right by me. Only my daughter ever hears
me sing..... blushing and laughing that a lead singer got a hint of my Disturbed vocals- I still thought it was great. My
concert buddy Bill came back to check out Zerocreep and i am going to follow up with a phone call to him;)
It was the best weekend of my life!!!!!
NOVEMBER 25, 2006
HARA ARENA
DAYTON,OHIO
Let me start off by saying WOW!!!! What a show! Hara
Arena for the third time. I made it just in time for the soundcheck- that wonder power rattling Hara's walls- the sound of
the metal siding feeling the effects of DISTURBED- So many newbies there for their 1st Disturbed- Me doing my 15th. Upon entering
I go to the right side of the stage secure a great seat in the first row and wait for the show to start. I completely scope
out the floor trying to figure out how to sneak to the floor when the lights go down- also contemplating whether or not i
really want to lose my great seat. Nonpoint went on first- rocking great as always- In The Air Tonight was what I was looking
forward to hearing live and I wasn't disappointed.
I am such a lucky bitch at Disturbed shows it will never cease to amaze
me- I struck up a conversation with one of Stone Sour's finest. So kind of him to let me borrow his pass so I wouldn't have
to feel so restricted in my seat. I made my way to the floor, returned the pass, hand a nice introduction. He went back to
work and I stated my way thru the crowd ready to rock full on Disturbed style in my psychobarberbitch way;) Flyleaf was next.
The crowd was mild- made for a nice dance sesions with no interruptions. The crowd cleared some and I moved onward for Stone
Sour. Let me say how much they rocked!!! The sweatshirt stripped down- I was nice and warm by now.The crowd woke up the sound
and show was great!!! I can not wait for my next Stone Sour concert.
Oh god my anticipation for my favorite band..... When those lights went
down and shit got started I made it second row behind some guys who kept my visuals clean and open. Releasing it all killer
show- all my favorite tunes- the pyros started when Overburden was performed. Stupify was halfway thru the set. I do think
I have tan lines from the fire, but i made it with no bruises. Land Of Confusion really got the crowd going. Mike's drums boomed. John's bass thumped. Dan's guitar
wailed great. David's vocals were as great as always. Loving every moment. Never disappointed. Slightly above my usual expectations.
Of all the newbies in the crowd what a great way to lose the Disturbed
concert virginity.
I love it!!!
ready for # 16
