The Sickness was and is a powertrip inducer for me.
I am DISTURBED!!!! Yes I can do anything!
When my daughter Viktoria was born, VOICES is what I requested
to be played during the time of arrival. My doctor even made it a point to make a round so he could see if I brought my DISTURBED
I was always talking about. The next day my doc said I pushed so hard it popped my smileyface tattoo off. I almost fell for
it.
THE GAME always seems to make me think of exboyfriends. The shitty
ones. I once took a bunch of memo cube notes and post its with DISTURBED lyrics on them, threw them and put them everywhere
in the apartment before I walked out and left the key. Gotta love THE SICKNESS.
STUPIFY- Makes me think of me. I like to terrify-haha. I love the
video!!!
DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS is a great tune. My answer is yes!!
I am fully DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS. Cartman noticed when I was in barber college, I never missed a DISTURBED song. A song would
come on and I would move right up to the radio. My last week of school, standing by the radio, the song (DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS)
ends. Everyone is staring at me when Cartman calls me on it out loud. Does anyone notice he asks... the whole class smiling
nodding yes.
I loved being stuck in rush hour traffic with My DISTURBED in the
cd player. People would roll their windows up beside me. ROCK ON!!! Must have been too loud for sensitive ears. WANT puts
me in mindset. Makes me think of everything I WANT. Yes I WANT to work for this great band. I went to barber college
for a reason. To learn how to shave heads with a straight razor. WANT I understand what it's like to WANT. CONFLICT I will
have to plead the fifth on this one. SHOUT 2000 Killer cover! I did like the original when I was younger. A former coworker
went nuts one day when he heard the song blasting from my Trans Am. I was forced to make him a copy. Actually it's not his
type of music at all, so I was very happy to hook him up. To see Thom go so fucking nuts over a DISTURBED song, that was great!
DROPPIN PLATES is another power song. Here I am in your face dropping me on you!! How does that feel? MEANING OF LIFE has
a line that sums it all up. To get psycho is not a question to me. Enough said on that. THE SICKNESS is my favorite although
TEN THOUSAND FISTS is running real close to it. The perfect blend of the first two albums. I love Dan's guitar playing. His
killer catchy rifts will have him lasting in the music world a long time. You can tell how well the guys compliment each
other musically on all counts on all albums. Mike's talent for drums are great. He is one powerful man on his throne.
I really like watching Mike play live. To watch that power erupt during a song is phenominal. To see that is empowering
in itself. Fuzz was great to watch. I remember in Cleveland for a show I realized he played some with out a pick. Besides
Les Claypool I never knew or noticed anyone else play without. Very effective for the sounds being pounded out. It got my
full attention. The great sound that John has added with the band does not go unnoticed. Grateful for his place in DISTURBED.
Hope it is a permanent spot. BELIEVE is slightly milder in a sense. Not so mild in the feel of the album. BELIEVE came
out a couple months before my daughter was born. In the womb PRAYER was and after is still a favorite. My favorite
line is Let me enlighten you, this is the way I pray.
LIBERATE I remember when I heard that tune live. The intensity
of the crowd and sound was a perfect combo. It's one of my girl Ronni's favorites. REMEMBER makes me teary eyed emotional
when I hear it. Powerful enough to jog so many memories and emotions over the past 28 yrs of my life. RISE is
is another I am powerful song for me. MISTRESS I am a DISTURBED mistress- I will leave any man at home to go to
a DISTURBED show alone. DEVOUR makes me think of a future husband. I will devour you, take all the pain away. DARKNESS
one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in many years. I close my eyes and actually relax when I hear it. I did learn to
play the first 2 lines of the song on keyboard piano.
TEN THOUSAND FISTS is still very fresh and I'll
give my two cents on that after bit.
All three albums are a privilage and an honor to own. I can't
think of any other band ( even through my favorites) that has affected me so and helped mold me into what I am today.
Take the power chords and the deep throated melodies of THE SICKNESS toss in the feeling you get from BELIEVE and you
get TEN THOUSAND FISTS. Listening to the way David's voice has evolved over the past three albums is undeniably the best range and sound I have ever EVER heard.
